SHALJAM - Turnip

SHALJAM - شلجم

Heat:
       3 TABLESPOONS MUSTARD OIL
when odor has gone then add:
       2 ONIONS chopped
when onions become reddish then add:
       2 TEASPOON CRUSHED RED CHILLI
       1 TEASPOON WHITE CUMIN WHOLE
       1/2 KILO TURNIPS skinned and each cut to 4 pieces and then finely sliced
       SALT TO TASTE
add:
       WATER enough to soften the turnips
close lid and cook till ready.

Garnish with dill or cut fresh coriander and 2-4 cut green chilli.
