NIMONA - TALI HUI MATTAR - Fried fresh green peas

NIMONA - تلی ہوئی مٹر

Heat:
       3 TABLESPOONS MUSTARD OIL, after odor of oil is gone
then add:
       1 KILO (1.1 LBS) FRESH SHELLED GREEN PEAS
       1 TABLE- OR TEASPOON CRUSHED RED PEPPER
       1 TEASPOON WHOLE WHITE ZEERA
       1" GINGER PIECE in small julienned pieces
       2 CUPS OF WATER if peas are soft
       SALT to taste
Stir occasionally until water has evaporated. Enjoy!

  1. By the way, no garlic is used in this recipe. Ammi confounded you yet again!! Poor ammi, I think she used to forget. However, whole white zeera should be added in the recipe.I'm having this on an almost daily basis these days. I love it.
