MATTAR AALOO QEEMA مٹر آلو قیما
Fry 1 CUT MEDIUM ONION پیاز
in a pot with
1 CUP MUSTARD OIL سرسوں کا تیل until it turns reddish brown
then add:
2 TABLESPOON CORIANDER POWDER دھنیا
2 TABLESPOON RED CHILI POWDER لال مرچ
1 TABLESPOON GINGER PASTE ادرک
1 TABLESPOON GARLIC PASTE لسن
1 LEVEL TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER ہلدی
Fry until turmeric odor has gone then add:
1/2 KILO (1.1 LBS) MINCED BEEF قیما
SALT to taste and mix it up nice
then add:
1-2 CUPS OF WATER
1 CUT TOMATO
and close the lid and cook until water has evaporated; reduce it
a little more while stirring.
Now add:
1/4 KILO (.55 LBS) OF FRESH GREEN PEAS مٹر
3 MEDIUM SIZE POTATOES آلو cut in four pieces each
ENOUGH BOILING WATER to tenderize the potatoes,
when done then water should have evaporated.
Garnish with:
CUT GREEN CHILI کٹی ہی حری مرچ
CUT FRESH CORIANDER کٹا ہوا ہر دھنیا
Eat with poori.
