SHAH ZEERAY KA CHAAWAL - Black cumin (Caraway) rice

SHAH ZEERAY KA CHAAWAL    شاہ زیرے کا چاول

Wet   1/2 KILO BASMATI RICE for about 3/4 hour then drain the water
Heat more than
         1/2 CUP CLARIFIED BUTTER
add:
         1 TABLESPOON WHOLE BLACK CUMIN
         3-4 CINNAMON STICKS 1" LONG
immediately add the rice stirring to mix it up,
now add:
          WATER two fingers height above the rice
          SALT to taste and bring to boil, now lower the flame and cook until rice is ready.

Garnish with chopped tempered onions after removing them from the oil.
Best with RIZAALA.
