Fry 3 WHITE MEDIUM ONIONS CUT ROUND  لچھا  پیاز  golden in low heat stirring a lot
in    4 TABLESPOONS OF CLARIFIED BUTTER (GHEE)   گھی
adding these in a few minutes
       3-4 WHOLE CARDAMON   کھڑی الائچی (SLIGHTLY OPENED)
       2 WHOLE CLOVES   لونگ
       1 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER CORNS CRUSHED   گول مرچ
       1/2 TEASPOON MACE (MAY FLOWER) POWDER    جاوتہری
       1/2 TEASPOON NUTMEG POWDER   جیپپھل
       2 1" BLADE CINNAMON STICK    دالچینی
       2-3 BAY LEAVES    تیزپتا
       1 TEASPOON WHOLE BLACK CUMIN SEED    کالا شاہ زیرا
Now add:
       1 WHOLE CHICKEN MEDIUM CUT PIECES (1 KILO/2.2LBS)   مرغی and stir for 3 minutes
add: 
       2 TABLESPOONS GINGER PASTE    ادرک
       2 TABLESPOONS GARLIC PASTE    لسن
       1 TEASPOON SALT TO TASTE   نمک
mix it all up nicely and cook on low flame in closed lid for 20-25 minutes but keep stirring occasionally to not let chicken stick to pot; check for readiness, when chicken is softened 
then on low flame
add:
       7-8 WHOLE GREEN CHILI    حری مرچ
       1 - 1 1/2 TABLESPOONS OF SUGAR   چینی
       1 TABLESPOON TAMARIND PASTE    املی
       1/2 CUP BOILING WATER
add last:
       4 TABLESPOONS WHIPPED YOGURT
cook till chilies change color and oil separates. IT'S DONE! Serve
with Shah Zeeray ka Chaawal   شاہ زیرے کے چاول
